Akechi Hill is on the border between Hino Town of Tottori Prefecture and Niimi City of Okayama Prefecture, and known as the best spot to see a sea of cloud among locals. A sea of cloud can be seen in the sunny early morning from end of October to December, when the temperature gap of day and night gets bigger. The overcast layer of clouds covers the land, and makes the heavenly scenery. You can also see the south wall of Mt. Daisen when the air is clear enough. Please enjoy the awe-inspiring view.
