Yurihama Town is in the central Tottori. Please do not stay on the highway and pass this town, otherwise you'll miss this beautiful torii (shrine gate). If you have time, please drive the local seaside road instead of highway. When you get closer to Hasizu Coast, you will find a red torii standing in the sea. The torii was built praying for safe voyage. You will feel the fear, appreciation and folk faith of local people. Watching the torii standing still in the harsh cold winter weather is awe-inspiring.
