To Yonagokuko Station

Take the train from Yonagokuko (Airport) Station to Sakaiminato Station on the JR Sakai line.
As you exit the airport building, turn right.
Continue straight; the station is less than 5 minutes away.
You will reach a staircase and elevator.
The staircase leads to an overpass, which leads to Yonagokuko Station. The elevator can also be used.

Tickets are dispensed via a vending machine.

Let’s browse around Mizuki Shigeru Road!

Mizuki Shigeru Road is on your left (north-eastern direction) from the exit of Minato Sakai Exchange Center. Simply follow the youkai statuettes!

Mizuki Shigeru Road is a street dedicated to the characters that appear in his manga works. For 1 km from JR Sakaiminato station to the Motomachi arcade, approximately 140 bronze statuettes of youkai line both sides of the road. Many seafood restaurants and souvenir shops can also be found on the street.

It's a 15min slow walk from Sakaiminato Station to the Mizuki Shigeru Museum.

Matsue Castle

Matsue Castle was constructed under the local lord Horio Yoshiharu in 1611. The castle is nicknamed as 'the plover castle', reason being the outer wall is painted black. Matsue Castle is one of the 12 remaining castles as in the original wooden form in Japan. Panoramic view of Matsue City can be seen from the keep.

(3)Ring the bell to let the driver know you are getting off at the next stop. The exit is the front door. You can't get off from the rear door.
