On the first (ground) floor of the Minato Sakai Exchange Center there are coin operated lockers where one can leave excess baggage whilst exploring Sakaiminato City. There is no charge to use the lockers, but a 100yen coin is needed to operate a locker. Insert the coin when closing the door of the locker, lock it with the key, and pull the key out and keep it on you. Upon your return, insert the key, turn the lock to open, and the coin will come out again. Don't forget to take your coin!
