Horikawa Hureai Hiroba Departure and Arrival Point is near the Matsue Horikawa Local Beer Hall. In the beer hall, there is a restaurant and a big souvenir shop. Bike rental is also available (300 yen a day). From the departure and arrival point, you can walk to Matsue Castle, old samurai residence district and Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum.
