From the 1km path along the beach one can see the sun rising from behind Mt. Daisen in the morning.

This is the statue of Matsutaro Arimoto, who opened Kaike Onsen Hot Spring. With your back against the statue, walk the street for 5 minutes and you will get to Kaike Onsen Information Center.
